AI Foundations Certificate Program

What is the AI Foundations Certificate Program?

The AI Foundations Certificate Program is designed for individuals interested in learning basic skills and acquiring general knowledge in AI. Through this program, you’ll explore various facets of AI, from practical adoption of AI tools in the workplace to maximizing the capabilities of AI text generators and image processors.

Flexible Learning Path

The program consists of five classes that can be taken in any order, allowing you to tailor your learning experience. Register for each course individually, and once you have completed all five, the AI Foundations Certificate is yours. Here’s what is offered:

1. Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace: Designed for AI beginners, this presentation will demystify the world of artificial intelligence and introduce user-friendly tools that can enhance your workflow. You will discover ways to automate time-consuming, repetitive processes and simplify complex tasks. A range of tools for different tasks will be presented. You will experience firsthand the power of AI through hands-on demonstrations and practical examples.
2. Harnessing AI Tools in the Workplace: This training presents a workplace scenario where through the use of AI tools, you will be presented with three tasks to complete, how to  create a voice using AI Text-To-Speech (TTS) tools, how to edit an image, and finally how to utilize a text generator tool to generate text, answer questions, or engage in conversations. The training can be completed in approximately 20 minutes.  
3. AI Image Generators (Self-Paced or Live): In this course you will master AI tools like Bing Image Creator, Adobe Express, and Adobe Photoshop for image creation and editing. You will see in detail how different AI image generators function and the drawbacks as well as benefits of each tool. We offer flexible formats. You can choose to attend the 1.5-hour live training via Zoom or a self-paced version which can be completed in approximately 1.5 hours as well.
4. Prompt Engineering: If you are interested in how to write effective prompts to generate exact outputs, this training will teach you to do just that. You will learn how to create precise prompts using AI tools such as GPT-3 and DALL-E. We start with prompt engineering fundamentals as a groundwork for a better understanding of AI text and image generator tools. Examples of applications are provided with a hands-on playground for you to experiment and see the results yourself. We also cover best practices so that you get the most out of the tools of your choice.
5. AI in the Workplace: This micro course is a quick, 10-minute self-paced training tailored to introduce you to the efficiencies of AI text generators in the workplace. You will learn how to create prompts that work best in a text generator tool to maximize your time and effort and at the same time achieve the results closet to your desire.
